About the Australian National Championships

The Australian National Championships are a series of events that form the pinnacle for emerging athletes within Australia, seeing the National Champion crowned at the conclusion of each event. These inclusive events provide athletes the opportunity to represent their state or club on the national stage and give athletes the chance to experience a replication of the high-performance environment that Australian national teams experience when they compete internationally.

The events form a pivotal part of the Australian national team pathway with the events well attended by national team coaching staff.

In recent years the National Championships have become so well regarded that they have on many occasions included teams from neighbouring international federations participating in the applicable event.
